Forget the stresses and strains: gather your friends this December and finish the year in style.

In December, it’s easy to get lost in the stresses of finishing work or paying for holidays and presents, and lose sight of what is really important.

December is the end and the beginning, a time for hope and reflection. This summer season at Rhodes & Beckett, we’re focusing on bringing your friends together and taking a moment to talk and unwind.

This December, be the one who calls up your favourite restaurant, books the large table in a private room and organises a dinner with all of your closest friends. Drink wine, talk about the year you had, soak in all the company you’ve missed while you’ve been too busy at work. Order food as a group and share - there’s something wonderful about sharing food together. Get dressed up in beautiful shirts and suits and make yourself look nice, like you’re on the precipice of something wonderful.

Be the one to write cards that really mean something, cards that go beyond just “Seasons’ Greetings and a Happy New Year.” When you’re buying presents, buy someone an experience; an event or a dinner with friends. Because it’s those memories that really mean something to people, those memories you’ll keep for many years to come.

Be the one in the family with all the Christmas spirit and cheer. Get up early to buy the ham on Christmas morning, whip the kids in to an excited frenzy about Santa on Christmas Eve. Go driving with your family up the coast and sit on the beach.

Go outside, have dinner, gather your friends. Because it’s the beginning and the end, a time for reflection, celebration, and friends.
